What you'll have at the end
- A LARA phone number that takes after-hours and overflow calls.
- Pulse answering visitor questions on your website 24/7.
- An automated 3-message review-request cadence for completed jobs.
- All of it captured in one shared inbox you can assign and follow up from.
Stay in this tab
Each step opens a deeper guide in a new tab if you want detail. The 30-minute path stays here. Don't worry about perfection — you'll tune everything in the first 30 days.
Step 1 — Connect a phone (5 min)
- Open Settings → LARA → Phone numbers.
- Click Add number → Buy a new number, pick an area code that matches your service region.
- Place a test call from your cell. LARA answers — you're live.
Already have a number you want LARA on? See port-existing or conditional-forwarding instead.
Step 2 — Add knowledge (10 min)
- Open /knowledge → Add source → Website.
- Paste your homepage URL. Pulse auto-discovers your sitemap and crawls the right pages.
- While that's running (~3 minutes for most sites), upload your top-3 PDFs: pricing sheet, service-area map, common-FAQ doc.
- Mark any critical pages as Priority — Pulse weighs them more in retrieval.
Step 3 — Embed Pulse (5 min)
- Open /pulse/install. Copy your snippet (it includes your tenant ID).
- Paste it just before </body> in your site's footer template.
- Refresh your homepage. The Pulse launcher appears bottom-right within 2 seconds.

data-tenant="YOUR_TENANT_ID"></script>Step 4 — Turn on review requests (10 min)
- Open /boost/sources → Connect Google Business Profile (one-click OAuth).
- Open /boost/cadences → New cadence → pick the "Standard 3-touch" template.
- Edit the {{tech_name}} and {{business_name}} merge fields if needed.
- Connect your CRM (or, if you don't have one yet, you can mark jobs complete manually).
Done — you're live
From the next missed call, the next visitor question, and the next completed job, Laddr is doing the work. Watch /overview for the next 48 hours and let real activity show you where to tune.
What to do next week
- Read your first 20 LARA transcripts. Tune the system prompt where you see drift.
- Read 20 Pulse sessions. Add a Manual Q&A for any low-confidence answer.
- Watch /boost/reviews — review-request open rates and conversion show within 5–7 days.
